Hong Leong Assurance Launches Premier Millions The State of the art Insurance Plan with Protection for Advanced Cancer

Kuala Lumpur, 2 April 2018 – Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) is proud to announce the launch of HLA Premier Millions, a protection plan with a seamless process of recovery from advanced cancer. Under the Advanced Cancer Care Rider, policyholders are entitled to an annual limit of USD 1 million/RM 4 million* worth of overseas medical treatment for advanced cancer, with the ability for multiple claims within the same year. It also features a lifetime limit of USD 2 million/RM 8 million* in overseas medical treatments for advanced cancer, which can be used in the event of relapse of cancer or occurrence of other types of cancer.

The Advanced Cancer Care Rider provides policyholders with a second medical opinion on their cancer diagnosis, after which they will choose from a world-leading medical centre of their choice from the United States, Europe, or Australia to seek treatment. Everything from initial diagnosis to planning for accommodation and travel, including administrative service for follow-up treatment, is handled by an appointed representative. By holding the hand of the patient through every step of treatment and taking care of the details along the way, this rider lets them focus on their recovery.

HLA Premier Millions doesn’t compromise on either personal or family coverage. Designed for those who want protection in the present and a legacy to leave behind, HLA Premier Millions is a regular premium investment-linked plan that offers worldleading medical treatment for advanced cancer along with protection for death, Total and Permanent Disability, Old Age Disablement, and accidental death.

For those who are looking for enhanced medical coverage, HLA MediShield II Rider offers all-round protection that covers room and board, hospitalisation fees, and outpatient expenses. By paying a little extra in premiums, policyholders can enjoy annual medical coverage that starts from RM2 million with no lifetime limit. As Malaysia’s leading local insurer, HLA drives innovative and value-added products to meet the evolving needs of consumers at different stages of their lives.
